MAGNITUDE 3.2 QUAKE STRIKES NEAR PETROLIA IN FAR NORTHERN COAST

A magnitude 3.2 earthquake rattled the remote Petrolia area of California's far northern coast Saturday afternoon, according to USGS data. The quake struck at 3:13 p.m. PT about 49 kilometers west of Petrolia and originated at a depth of 15 kilometers.
