MAGNITUDE 2.6 EARTHQUAKE STRIKES NEAR CORNING IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
A magnitude 2.6 earthquake rattled the area west-northwest of Corning in Tehama County at 9:57 p.m. Saturday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake struck about 7 kilometers from the town and occurred at a depth of 36 kilometers.
