MAGNITUDE 2.6 EARTHQUAKE STRIKES NEAR FERNDALE IN HUMBOLDT COUNTY

A magnitude 2.6 earthquake hit 55 kilometers west of Ferndale in Humboldt County on Friday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake struck at 1:21 p.m. PT at a depth of 17 kilometers.
