M3.4 QUAKE STRIKES NEAR TOMS PLACE IN MONO COUNTY
A magnitude 3.4 earthquake rattled the Eastern Sierra on Wednesday afternoon, centered about 19 kilometers southwest of Toms Place in Mono County. The quake struck at 1:38 p.m. PT at a depth of 3 kilometers, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
