MAGNITUDE 3.1 EARTHQUAKE SHAKES AREA NEAR COSO JUNCTION

A magnitude 3.1 earthquake struck 10 kilometers east-northeast of Coso Junction in Inyo County at 8:33 a.m. PT on Saturday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake occurred at a depth of 3 kilometers.
