MAGNITUDE 2.6 EARTHQUAKE REPORTED NEAR COVELO IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

A magnitude 2.6 earthquake struck about 31 kilometers north-northwest of Covelo in Mendocino County Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake occurred at 11:26 a.m. PT at a depth of 8 kilometers.
