A man in his 40s is dead after being struck by a truck and an SUV in a hit-and-run collision in the North Hills neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley. The incident was reported at 5:06 p.m. Saturday. The victim was crossing the street when he was struck by both vehicles, according to dispatch data.
