A magnitude 3.2 earthquake rattled The Geysers area in Sonoma County early Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake struck at 3:30 a.m. PT, centered roughly 6 kilometers northwest of The Geysers at a depth of 3 kilometers.

The USGS reports at least 10 people felt the tremor. The Geysers sits atop one of the world's largest geothermal fields and is a known zone of seismic activity—quakes in this range are not uncommon for the region.
