MAGNITUDE 2.6 QUAKE NEAR EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE

A magnitude 2.6 earthquake struck 6 kilometers west of Edwards Air Force Base early Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 3:19 a.m. PT at a depth of 8 kilometers.
