MAGNITUDE 2.6 EARTHQUAKE STRIKES NEAR PETROLIA

A magnitude 2.6 earthquake hit 17 kilometers west of Petrolia in Calif. late Wednesday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake struck at 9:39 p.m. PT at a depth of 9 kilometers.
