A vehicle fire has closed the southbound I-5 off-ramp at Kasson Road, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch data. The fire was reported at 3:37 p.m. on Wednesday.

CHP crews remain on scene. As of the latest update at 11:22 p.m., responders were waiting for the vehicle to cool sufficiently before departure, with a cone placed on top of the vehicle in case of additional emergency calls to the location.
No immediate word on injuries, the cause of the fire, or a timeline for reopening the off-ramp.
