CAL WIRE publishes a mix of original staff-written journalism and automated wire coverage sourced from public data feeds and established outlets, along with live tools including weather, radar, satellite imagery, traffic conditions, scanner feeds, and surf reports. Wire and tool content is provided for informational purposes and may not always be complete or up to the minute; it should not be relied on as the sole source for emergency or safety decisions. In an emergency, contact 911 or the relevant local authority directly.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including attempting to disrupt its operation, scrape it at abusive volume, or use it to distribute unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

Third-Party Links & Sources

The Site links to and aggregates headlines from third-party news outlets and public data providers (including NOAA and NWS feeds). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of external sites we link to.
