MULTI-VEHICLE CRASH SHUTS NORTHBOUND 5 FREEWAY IN LOS ANGELES

A traffic collision with entrapment has shut down the northbound 5 Freeway near the 1600 block in Los Angeles as of 10:35 a.m., according to LAFD dispatch data. Emergency crews are on scene conducting extrication operations, indicating at least one vehicle occupant is trapped.
