MINOR EARTHQUAKE RATTLES OAKLAND AREA
A magnitude 2.5 earthquake struck near Oakland late Tuesday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake hit at 7:52 p.m. PT about 2 kilometers east-southeast of Oakland at a depth of 10 kilometers.
