MAGNITUDE 3.1 QUAKE STRIKES NEAR SALTON CITY
A magnitude 3.1 earthquake rattled the area about 7.5 miles west-southwest of Salton City on Sunday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor struck at 1:17 p.m. at a depth of 4 kilometers.
