MAGNITUDE 2.7 QUAKE RATTLES SAN JACINTO AREA

A magnitude 2.7 earthquake struck 4 kilometers east of San Jacinto early Friday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reports. The temblor hit at 1:04 a.m. PT at a depth of 12 kilometers.
