MAGNITUDE 2.7 EARTHQUAKE STRIKES NEAR SHANDON IN SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY

A magnitude 2.7 earthquake rattled the area southeast of Shandon in San Luis Obispo County on Saturday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake struck at 6:05 p.m. PT and was centered about 17 kilometers south-southeast of the small community, at a depth of 31 kilometers.
