MAGNITUDE 2.7 EARTHQUAKE STRIKES NEAR BIG BEAR CITY
A magnitude 2.7 earthquake hit about 39 kilometers northeast of Big Bear City on Monday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake struck at 2:15 p.m. Pacific Time and was centered roughly 2 kilometers below the surface.
