M3.1 EARTHQUAKE STRIKES NEAR WOFFORD HEIGHTS IN KERN COUNTY
A magnitude 3.1 earthquake rattled the area near Wofford Heights in Kern County early Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake struck at 2:37 a.m. PT, centered about 5 kilometers east-southeast of the community, at a depth of 4 kilometers.
